Solomon was 12 years old when he wrote his first book, U.S. History Bites. Now, at age 13, he has written the second book in his “History Bites” series called,
- Presidential History Bites.
Solomon lives in New York with his parents and three siblings. He loves God, his family, his church, reading, learning history, building Legos, eating, playing in the snow, and making films. He really hopes you will be inspired to learn more about the amazing history of the United States.
Cecelia is 16 years old and has been a Christian since she was four. She lives in New York with her parents and three younger siblings. Besides writing Christian books, Cecelia enjoys writing and performing plays with her family and friends, playing the piano at church and at home, baking, singing, acting, and making people laugh.
Lisa is the Mother of Solomon and Cecelia, became a Christian in the summer of 1991. She and her husband Mike have been married since 1993 and they have four children, two biological and two adopted from Ethiopia. Their family belongs to a reformed church in Western New York. They serve as ACBC certified biblical counselors, Marriage and Family workshop teachers, and have also taught Sunday School and Junior Church for children in grades K-8. Lisa also regularly speaks at the annual ACBC conference, teaches Ladies Bible Study at her church, and speaks at other women’s events and conferences. She has also been featured on Wretched Radio and Wretched TV with Todd Friel.
Her educational background includes a dual Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education along with a Master’s degree as a Reading Specialist. She has also been an ACBC certified biblical counselor since 2007 (Association of Certified Biblical Counselors). She worked as an Elementary and Special Education Teacher and Reading Specialist for seven years before she and Mike had their first child. Since then, she has enjoyed serving the Lord primarily at home as a wife and homeschooling mother, but also as a Bible Study Teacher, biblical counselor, and conference speaker for women.

Kim has over 20 years of experience in the college advising, admissions and career area, helping people of all ages figure out majors, occupations and life direction. She has a BA in Business, an MA in Counseling, and is cerified to give and interpret the Strong Interest Inventory as well as administer the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).
Author, Carol Kinsey, has been involved in youth ministry with her husband for over twenty years. A full time youth pastor’s wife, homeschool mom and author, Carol writes fiction that she hopes will honor God and create a love for truth and reading in her audience. Carol has taught writing classes, co-ops, and spoken at youth conventions for Student Venture (Campus Crusade for Christ), Heartbeats abstinence program, as well as other youth ministry mediums. Her novels, Under the Shadow of a Steeple, Until Proven Innocent, and Greater Love, reflect Carol’s love for pure, Christ centered fiction. Her Young Adult Fiction novel, Under the Shadow of a Steeple, has been used as a read allowed for whole families and portrays the beauty of homeschooling in a creative way. Carol is also a contributing author for Relationships Under Construction, internationally used abstinence curriculum. She has served as a journalist for the Coshocton Tribune, writes for newsletters, and loves to encourage others to develop their own love for writing.
The ACT Mom, Kati Johnson

Keith and Kati Johnson founded The ACT Mom during the summer of 2015. What had been a private undertaking became public when Kati started sharing the story of her family’s 4 year preparation for the ACT. Kati speaks, teaches, encourages, and counsels. Kati has a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Asbury Theological Seminary. Keith and Kati live in Lexington, KY.
Luke and Trisha Gilkerson
Luke Gilkerson and his wife Trisha have written dozens of books on homeschooling, godly parenting, and healthy living as well as hundreds of articles on their website, IntoxicatedOnLife.com Luke worked as a Campus Minister on the University of Toledo for over 5 years. Luke received his Masters degree in Religion from Reformed Theological Seminary. They work at home together and homeschool their 4 rambunctious boys.

Her heart’s desire is to help and encourage parents to be purposeful in raising Godly children with strong Christian character, who walk in purity, and have a heart for God.
Kim is a veteran homeschool mom who has recently been blessed with the role of “Homeschool Grammy.” One of her life goals is to be an encouragement to younger moms in their homeschool journey. Besides being Grammy, she is a worship leader, photographer, vocal coach and musician. She earned her Certificate of Worship Arts and Leadership from Mid-America Christian University, studying under Sandi Patty. “God has led me to do many things in my life, but being a homeschool mom is not only the most important job, but also the most fulfilling.
