Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a computer account?
You should have received your account information from your homeroom teacher the first week of school. If you never received a sheet with your information on it, please see Mr. Kille in person.
What do I do if I forgot my user name or password?
Ask a teacher or secretary to look up your information in RenWeb student data.
I tried to log on and have checked that my user name and password are correct, but it says my account is invalid.
Make sure the Caps lock key is not activated on your keyboard and that you are typing your password correctly in all lower case characters.
How can I change my password?
You can not change your password unless your account has been compromised (which means you were not careful enough to keep your password secret). In this case you can request your password be changed but it will cost you $1.00.
How do I log onto a computer if I am in grades K-6.
Ask your teacher.
My printer account balance is $0.00 and I can no longer print. How do I add money to my account?
You can purchase a Print Card from Mr. Kille, Mr. Neifer, or Mrs. Jones in increments of 25 cents.
I press "print" but my document does not print. What can I do?
This is likely due to the fact that you did not select the correct printer before clicking "print". Each computer in the school can print to 5 or more different locations in the building. Your document may have printed to a different location. Always make sure you know where your document is going to print before printing. To do this, choose "print" from the "file" menu (do not just press the print button icon). You can now specify exactly which printer to send your document to. If your document still doesn't print, please see your teacher.
