Fundraisers
World’s Finest Candy Sale (August & September)
Candy bars will be made available in the Development Office beginning Friday, August 27, 2010 thru Friday, September 17, 2010. There are 50 candy bars per case, selling for $1 each. Families earn $.50 for each candy bar sold ($25 a case).
Entertainment Book (August – December)
Entertainment books sell for $30; families earn $10 toward their fundraising quota. Books are available in the Development Office late August through December. Books must be paid for at time of purchase. No exceptions! Checks or cash only. Checks made payable to: Toledo Christian School.
Brick Pavers (Year Round)
Small brick pavers sell for $100; families earn $50 toward their fundraising quota. Large pavers sell for $500; families earn $150 toward their fundraising quota. Pavers are a special way to honor a loved one and will be displayed along TCS’ walkway.
Patron Ads (August – September – November & April)
Business patron ads can be purchased for one or more of the following:
- TCS Family & Business Directory, which will be published and distributed to families in the fall
- Fall Banquet Program
- Auction Catalog
Patron Ads are an easy way to earn significant credit toward your fundraising quota. Most small businesses (car washes, plumbing, seal coating, etc.), dentist offices, chiropractors, attorneys, etc. are willing to run an ad if you ask! This is a great way for them to get their businesses exposed at little cost to them.
Enclosed are advertisement forms (Fall Banquet form will be made available at a later date). Feel free to make copies as needed. Additional copies are also available in the Development Office. Checks made payable to: Toledo Christian School. Please take note of Patron Ad deadlines on the forms. Families will earn 100% credit for ads placed.
Elementary Bike-a-thon - Grades K-5 (September)
Families earn 100% credit for money raised through Bike-a-thon sponsors. Students may obtain a per-mile or flat amount. Bike-a-thon will be held on Friday, September 17, 2010 at Ottawa Park.
Middle School (6 & 7 Grades only) Bike-a-thon (September)
Sixth & Seventh graders will have an optional opportunity to participate in the Elementary Bike-a-thon on Friday, September 17, 2010 at Ottawa Park. Students who obtain sponsors in advance and pre-pay a minimum of $100 by September 16, 2010 will be approved to participate. Students not participating must report to school, as this is a regular school day and work will be assigned.
Enjoy the City 2011 Coupon Book (October)
Enjoy the City Coupon Books sell for $20 each, families earn $8-$10 per book sold depending on total books sold from the school. These books pay for themselves; they include a $27.99 oil change and a free medium one-topping pizza. Coupons are specific for the Toledo area. For every 5 books sold, you receive a free book (cumulative). Each book contains more than $2,500 in value at many of the area’s most popular merchants and contains coupons for Fine Dine, Fast Food, and Recreational establishments.
Genevieve’s Fundraising (November)
The Genevieve’s sale will run from November 1, 2010 through November 17, 2010 and offers a wide variety of items for the holidays (candles, wrapping paper, magazines, snacks, flowers, personalized gifts, and more). Profit is 40%-50% based on overall sales.
Otis Spunkmeyer (February)
The Otis Spunkmeyer sale will run from February 1, 2011 through February 16, 2011. Otis has been warming hearts and delighting taste buds for over 30 years. Included in this brochure are cookies, coffee cake, brownies, and pretzels. Families earn 40% profit.
